About Taylor Tenenbaum

As a children’s book author and dedicated New York City public school teacher, Taylor Tenenbaum brings a passion for literature and education to everything she does. With a master’s degree in teaching literacy from birth through 12th grade, she is deeply committed to fostering a lifelong love of reading and learning in young minds.
In the classroom, Taylor works to create engaging, inclusive spaces where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential — building essential reading and writing skills while nurturing creativity and critical thinking.
Beyond the classroom, Taylor channels her love of storytelling into books that captivate and inspire young readers. Each story is crafted with care and attention to detail, aiming to spark imagination, empathy, and coping skills. Using her own Cavapoo, Daisy, as inspiration, she transforms the everyday challenges children face into relatable, engaging stories about navigating big feelings and change.
Taylor fills a real gap in children’s literature by blending social-emotional learning with storytelling children love to read. She hopes to leave young readers feeling seen, heard, respected, and confident as families follow Daisy’s Wagging Tales.
When she isn’t teaching or writing, Taylor is spending time with her sweet 15 month-old, Reiss, on family walks with Daisy, and creating new healthy recipes for all to enjoy around the kitchen table.
